Creating a Community

The Rocks Class is using language to build community. Our words are important and, when we communicate clearly, they help the children play and work together. The park is one of the places we practice our social skills. Here are some of the words heard today:

"Do you want me to push you?"

"We're waiting for a turn."

"I'm pushing by myself."

"We can take turns because we're best friends."

"How do you get up there?" 

"Can I have a turn after you?"

"I can help you!" "We can build it together."
