This month at park, small groups of students have the opportunity to play soccer in the caged basketball court. Mr. Licato and the middle school interns bring out the balls and set up the goalposts.
For some children this is their first experience of soccer.
For others, they have practiced dribbling, kicking, stopping, and shooting skills.
While there's no snow on the ground, we will continue our soccer play.
At activity time, our youngest and oldest class members worked together on a block structure.
"We're building a house for our families."
