This week it really looked like the radishes we planted in the outside planter were ready to be harvested.
On Wednesday, we stopped to pick two of the plants.
Inside, Cabot and Jack M. helped wash the radishes and their leaves in the Studio sink.
Then Ms. Sytsma sliced the radishes and tore up the greens. Everyone was invited to taste the radish and to taste the greens.
A little butter and salt were offered with the radishes and some children really enjoyed this combination of flavors.
Others liked the crisp and spicy radish all by itself.
