In worship, I often see you place your hand on the knee or the shoulder of the friend sitting next to you.
When the chimes ring at the park, you call out the name of your partner eager for them to join you for the walk back to school.
As you step into the classroom in the morning, you look for the teacher to deliver your first shy hug of the day.
You have learned "There is no kissing in school."
During story time you sometimes choose to quietly hold the hand of a friend.
When sharing a book, you gather round, squish onto the cushions, and lean into each other.
In a moment of delight and discovery, your heads come close as you watch a worm wiggle in your hand.
You have made it a daily tradition to say goodbye to our fish, Cupcake, on our way out the door.
These are some of the ways you show your love for each other and for school.
