A Returning Visitor

One of our middle school interns, Josh, returned to our classroom today. Josh is on the school service team and will visit the Rivers Class for an hour on Fridays. Today the children persuaded him to read them a story during independent reading time and he soon gathered a crowd.

Josh joined us for music class. It is good for the more reluctant singers to watch an older boy participate with the words and actions.

During activity time Josh led a new matching game on our theme of castles. We look forward to watching the friendships develop between Josh and the children. I'm sure Josh will need his own Rivers Class mailbox soon as the children already ask to make him a message!
