This letter adds one more stroke to F, so now we make a little line at the top, the middle, and the bottom. It's another "frog jump" letter.
Remember to draw the letter before your child starts. Then the child begins by tracing over the lines and experiences greater success. Don't we all want that?! Practice the erasable option several times before trying the letter on paper.
As we make letters, we're using the words top, middle, and bottom a lot. (There is a song for this. Here is a slightly more energetic version than what we sang in class. It sounds cheesy but the children love singing it.)
