9:55 Independent reading time - Children choose a book to look through. They retell a familiar story by looking at the pictures.

10:15 Class meeting - Activity introduction by teachers
10:20 Activity time - Usually 2 teacher activities and several independent options. Children may stay from 5-20 minutes at one activity depending on their level of interest and ability to sustain engagement.
