Rocks Class First Day
In our classroom library, there is a book called Miffy at School by Dick Bruna. In the book, Miffy enjoys many of the same activities your child is experiencing this week.
Miffy learns "a pretty song." We sang Jack Be Nimble and jumped over a real candlestick.
Miffy's teacher says, "Now let's draw." We used markers to draw a picture and stored it on our clipboards.
Miffy's class made "a town with building blocks." We built with blocks at the light table and on the nest.
We ended our day listening to Gossie the Gosling's adventure. In her classroom, Miffy thought, "The story was exciting and the book had pictures, too."
