A new jar appeared in the classroom today.
The children (and parents) wondered, "What is inside?"
Ants? Snails? Lizards? Baby window bugs? Caterpillars? Roly-Poly bugs?
We looked closely.
We looked even closer!
At the end of the morning, Ms Buckley read a book titled A Ladybug's Life.
Ladybug larva are living in the jar!
The children will learn how to take care of the larva as we watch them grow.
They will observe the changes in the lifecycle of a ladybug, from larva to pupa to beetle.
We will draw and paint our observations.
