But first, we had an envelope to mail. The children made many messages to send to Ms Kadota in England. Everyone stuck a stamp on the envelope and we walked to the post office.
Now it was time to walk to Stevens Park with our ladybugs safely in their jar.
It was a delight to see how the children have grown since our trip here in the Fall.
They are stronger, taller, and more confident.

We enjoyed a picnic snack together and more running and chasing in the field.
It was perfect weather.
We found a place, near some bushes, to release the ladybugs. They were eager to escape! Many opened their wings and flew to blades of grass, or onto the children.
We ventured over for a scramble on the rocks. Children took turns standing at the top, played hide and seek, protected ants, jumped and slid off the rocks.
On the walk home spritzes of water were available to cool down. Back at school we rounded out the morning with worship songs, a fun story, and our closing prayer.
