Neighborhood Birds

When you looked for signs of Spring in your neighborhood, I hope you saw, or heard, the birds. For the next two weeks we will be studying the birds that live locally. We'll observe them, listen to them, and draw them. Can you match the pictures here to those on your birdwatching sheet at home?

Here are four types of bird we commonly see in our New Jersey backyards and parks; sparrow, pigeon, robin, starling. Let's discover what they look like and sound like.
